Always wanted to try and buy a gravel bike? This is your chance! In collaboration with FOCUS Bikes we’re hosting a test event on December the 14th for the FOCUS ATLAS 6.8 gravel bike. You like what you tried? To seal the deal we can offer a 25% discount for the Atlas 6.8 when bought via Ride Out.
Will this day just be about bike riding?
No! Winter is here and we’re embracing it! We’ll supply a cozy hangout outside with hot chocolate, gluhwein and maybe even some oliebollen, so bring your friends along. Inside we’ll have the X2O Herenthals Cyclocross race on.
How does this work?
- On the 14th we’ll have our whole size range of Atlas 6.8 bikes available to test, and you can take them on a 2h testride. Plenty enough time to head to the Amsterdamse Bos and find some gravel (but be respectfull of where you’re allowed to ride and where not). Or take the bike wherever you would like to go.
- There will be no ride leader, you’re free to ride as long and fast as you want.
- Please be dressed and ready 15 minutes before your shift starts, to fill in a waiver and so we can help set up the bike. You know your saddle height? Even better!
- After each 2h test ride the bikes have to be brought back to Ride Out. Please be back in time so we can prep the bikes for the next shift.
- Pick the timeslot and bike size you would like to try and sign up. You can check the website from Focus to help you figure out your size in case you need some help with that. Need help? Let us know
- We’ll have space if you would like to leave a bag with warm clothes behind
What to bring?
- A bike helmet is mandatoy during this event so don’t forget to bring it. Optionally food for on the bike, drinks, pedals, bike computer+mount can be brought along. Each bike will come with a bottle cage.
- For the last shift of the day, bike lights are mandatory
- You’ll leave this day with a nice Focus goodiebag.
So what’s the deal?
Thanks to the nice people at Focus, we can offer you 25% discount on the Atlas 6.8 on the price as it is on the Focus website.. The promotion will starts on December 7th, and runs until December 21st and is only available in our shop. So if you already know which bike you would like, come by our shop and place your order. This promotion runs as long as the bikes are in stock.
